Sustainability, society and impact

 Here is the final outcome of the box, Above is also the view from the top. I decided to add some lighter butterflies as on the can, there is small butterflies in a lighter peach shade dotted on the can. I also chose to only do one butterfly, compared to the can there are loads on there and it felt too crowded to me so only adding one large butterfly to the top of the box was my solution to this problem.

 From two ideas I chose the first one. this was because I preferred the design more than the second one. The main problem with the second idea was that the lid could easily be lost or misplaced, whereas the first ideas lid is attached to the box as a whole. I also think that out of the two I designed, the first one was a little bit more luxurious.

 From my ideas I decided to develop the two ideas I came up with, and that was a gift box of sorts. the aim of a gift box was to design something that people want to keep and that can be used as a keep sake box. Here are the developments of both initial ideas.

 so as my first ideas didn't go to plan so I have revisited the packaging of the multi packs of monsters my initial research showed that while the packaging is recyclable, it isn't as sustainable as you think as sustainable products are made from sources that don't harm the natural environment and are eco friendly, and recyclable materials are made to be recycled and turned into something new. So I came up with some rough sketch ideas that are more luxurious aswell.
